The University of Arizona, College of Engineering seeks applications from established scientists for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

Candidates with a highly-visible, externally-funded research program in any area of biosensors research, development, and application are encouraged to apply. Extensive expertise and infrastructure in biosensor research and development exists at The University of Arizona, providing rich opportunities for the successful candidate to nucleate interdisciplinary collaborations and realize a vision for world class research. The successful candidate will have a primary appointment in the College of Engineering with the opportunity for one or more secondary appointments in related colleges such as Science and Medicine. This recruitment is a partnership with the BIO5 Institute. Established in 2001, the BIO5 Institute aims to harness the collaborative power of their five core disciplines – Agriculture, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Science – to find bold solutions to complex,


biology-based challenges affecting humanity. The successful candidate is anticipated to have a secondary appointment as a Research Fellow in the BIO5 Institute and will dedicate 75%  of their University effort to their research program for the duration of the  appointment.
