Welcome to the Thomas W. Keating Bioresearch Building

BIO5 aims to harness the collaborative power of our five core disciplines – Agriculture, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Science - to find bold solutions to complex, biology-based challenges affecting humanity: How do we prevent, treat, and cure diseases? How do we address the many environmental issues we face? How do we feed a hungry planet? Better health, medicine, food, and technology are the result of scientists with different expertise and backgrounds working together and inspiring one another to think in new ways.

BIO5’s home is the the Thomas W. Keating Bioresearch Building. BIO5 and the Keating Building provide world-class infrastructure, support, and resources that help affiliated faculty and students work collaboratively to address these types of grand, global challenges. Members of BIO5 have access to cutting-edge equipment and facilities, meeting spaces, and support services including cores in genetics, genomics, proteomics, biocomputing, irradiation, statistics, media, device prototyping, and more.

If your offices and labs are located here, or you are affiliated in some other way with BIO5 or the labs/units located in this exceptional facility, this resource website is for you.
