Dr. Ramin Yadegari, professor in the School of Plant Sciences, will present a lecture on the development of the endosperm - the part of a seed which acts as a food store for the developing plant embryo - at the University of Nebraska's biotechnology and life sciences series on April 9. Dr. Yadegari, also a professor of genetics, biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology, will share insights into his work deciphering the regulatory gene networks that control the growth and multiplication of this key plant development structure.
